Joerg Huber has been with Metzler since 2005. Since 2012, he has been responsible for the strategic and operational development of the IT infrastructure, application management and IT operations as Head of IT Infrastructure & Operations. Until 2016, he was the bank’s IT security officer.
From 1995 to 2005, Mr. Huber worked for GIS GmbH, a subsidiary of DZ-Bank AG in Frankfurt/Main. Here he was responsible for infrastructure/server development and further developed the financial information system and the satellite network (Satlynx).
In 1994, Mr. Huber worked at Capgemini in Munich as a software developer and consultant. He began his professional career in 1993 in the research department for radio technology at Ascom AG in Zurich, Switzerland.
Mr. Huber holds a degree in Technical Computer Science, a degree in Business Economics, a university certificate in information and communication systems (IT security) and an M. Eng. in IT Security and Forensics. He completed his studies at the Friedberg University of Applied Sciences, the Chemnitz Technical University and the Wismar University of Applied Sciences.
